The information you submit from the application page is subject to, and governed by, Barclays’ privacy policy, which is included here for your reference Barclays' Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review Barclays’ Privacy Policy to make sure you are comfortable with it before providing your personal or banking information to Barclays.

Personal Information vs. Non-Personal Analytical Information

"Personal Information" is information that would allow someone to identify or contact you, including, for example, your full name, address, telephone number or email address. Personal Information does not include anonymous analytical information.

“Non-Personal Analytical Information” is aggregated information that, by itself, does not permit the identification of individual persons (like statistics about how many persons visited the Site last month or how many visitors are male and how many are female).

What Personal Information does Luxury Card collect, maintain or share from this Site (other than the credit card application page)?

This Site (other than the credit card application page which is run by Barclays and is subject to Barclays' Privacy Policy and not this Luxury Card Privacy Policy) generally does not have any method of collecting Personal Information. Unless after the date of this Privacy Policy we state on other areas of our Site that we may collect Personal Information from such areas, we may collect Personal Information from this Site through cookies, which we may share with third parties for targeted advertising purposes. If you do not want us to share the Personal Information collected through the cookies on this Site, you may manage your cookie settings here: Cookie Settings. We may also collect Personal Information when you initiate a request to us for information that is not available on this Site and you provide us your contact information so we may respond to your request. In that case, we will collect the contact information you provide, which will include Personal Information such as your name and contact information. We will only use such Personal Information to provide the information you requested, and will delete it once our interaction is complete. Additionally, we may share it with our third party providers to the extent necessary to provide you with the information or services you requested or to an acquirer of our business.

Although your privacy is very important to us, due to legal rules beyond our control, we cannot fully ensure that your private communications and other Personal Information will not be disclosed to unauthorized third parties. For example, we may be forced to disclose information to the government or third parties under certain circumstances, or third parties may unlawfully intercept or access transmissions or private communications. Additionally, in the unlikely event we need to investigate or resolve possible problems or inquiries, we can, and you authorize us to, disclose any information about you to law enforcement or other government officials as we, in our sole discretion, believe necessary or appropriate. In addition, we may share Personal Information with our contractors on a need-to-know basis in order to maintain our Site and services provided that such contractors have agreed to nondisclosure and confidentiality requirements.

What Personal Information is collected from the credit card application page?

When you go to the page to apply for a Luxury Card credit card product, you are leaving this Site and going to a site owned and operated by Barclays (even though it is co-branded with Luxury Card). Any Personal Information you provide in your application is being submitted to Barclays and is addressed by Barclays' Privacy Policy (and not this Luxury Card Privacy Policy). We encourage you to review Barclays’ Privacy Policy to make sure you are comfortable with it before providing your personal or banking information to Barclays.
