LUXURY MAGAZINE® UNVEILS ITS SPRING/SUMMER ISSUE< Latest News
The Latest Issue Highlights the Happiness Found in the Great Outdoors
LUXURY MAGAZINE presented its new issue today, which focuses on experiences that reconnect us to the natural world. Features include the ultimate sport-fishing trips, fuel-efficient private jet innovations, RV--hauling SUVs, best new golf gear and the latest tech to turn your home into a healthy, sustainable environment.
“Thanks to myriad recent studies that link time spent outdoors to decreased anxiety and blood pressure, and increased immunity and self-esteem, nature has become a central tenet in the new wellness wave,” says Editor-in-Chief Deborah Frank. “This issue and its accompanying digital Wellness Guide provide Cardmembers with the tools and inspiration to experience open spaces as both a healing salve and a window into a unique sense of place.”
Highlights from the Spring/Summer issue include:
Cover Artist: Azuma Makoto
The Japanese botanical artist’s work offers stunning visuals that poignantly evoke this issue’s theme. From freezing arrangements to sending bouquets into the depths of the ocean, Makoto’s projects examine the force and fragility of flowers and life itself. Each project exists as a sort of unfolding, a feeling that arises and then inspires new direction, while his collaborator and childhood friend, photographer Shunsuke Shiinoki, documents the process with an exacting lens.
Wellness Travel Getaways
The editors introduce us to wellness travel that speaks to a renewed desire for outdoor experiences and healthy retreats. Readers can enjoy this featured article in the Spring/Summer issue in addition to more resources available in LUXURY MAGAZINE’S online Wellness Guide found at luxurycard.com/wellness.
Architecture, Design, and Tech
The Architecture Design feature “Your Home at Sea” highlights yacht interiors while the Furnishings section showcases major companies producing furniture that is all or partially sustainably produced, reworking designs to manufacture with recyclable materials. Also, the Tech column focuses on environmental controls in the home, such as monitoring air quality indoors.
